Job Title: Adjunct Faculty in User Experience Design

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty in User Experience Design to join our team at DePaul University's Jarvis College of Computing & Digital Media. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in User Experience Design, developing curriculum, and contributing to the growth and development of our program.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses in User Experience Design, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the program's goals and objectives
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the User Experience Design program
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives and committees
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in User Experience Design or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in User Experience Design or a related field
  • Proven track record of teaching and curriculum development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse and dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in User Experience Design or a related field
  • Experience with design research and human-centered design
  • Knowledge of design tools and software, including Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
