The Markets Funding team is dedicated to evaluating and enhancing the funding and liquidity strategies across various product lines within the Markets division. This team collaborates closely with stakeholders from both Markets and Corporate Treasury to create and execute clear processes that allocate any marginal costs or benefits to the respective business segments, thereby promoting optimal business practices.
In this role, the Markets Funding Structurer will engage in unique desk activities, working in tandem with all Markets teams as well as Corporate Treasury, Product Control, FP&A, and Operations. A comprehensive understanding of the organization's processes, systems, and workflows is crucial due to the extensive interaction with diverse business units and operations globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop tactical tools for Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Funding analysis for the Markets Funding desk.
- Conduct data analysis across a broad spectrum of internal data related to Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Structured Notes.
- Lead technological advancements in collaboration with IT partners for sustainable systemic improvements.
- Facilitate workflow enhancements within the desk to ensure clear data visibility and streamline decision-making.
- Project Management: Oversee a variety of projects, coordinating with multiple internal stakeholders across Sales, Trading, Operations, Technology, Treasury, Product Control, and Business Management.
Required Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in structuring.
- Strong analytical and technological skills, with a degree in a relevant field.
- In-depth knowledge of securities markets, trading, derivatives, and funding.
- Essential familiarity with large-scale data and querying capabilities.
- Proficiency in Python, VBA, database management, and Excel is crucial.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Highly motivated, independent thinker capable of working autonomously.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
- Effective collaboration and partnership skills are vital for success in this position.
- Capability to translate business needs into technological solutions while working seamlessly with both business and technology partners.
Education:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
Work Arrangement:
This position may offer a hybrid working arrangement, subject to various regulatory considerations.

$175,000 - $250,000
In addition to salary, the organization may offer discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
