Optometric Assistant

The Role: As a Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant, you will be the very face of our Exam Practice. You will be dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient. This role requires you to be trained and knowledgeable about eye health and preliminary testing, optics, our products/services, and managed vision care.

Responsibilities: Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
• Introducing patients to the OD and providing them with important patient information
• Transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor and providing associates with necessary information to educate and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Executing day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals, including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet additional patient needs

Qualifications: We're looking for individuals with related customer or patient experience, a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent related job experience. If you're passionate about eye health and providing exceptional patient care, we want to hear from you
