About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Midlands Regional Center. As a member of our care team, you will provide essential support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential facility setting.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual disabilities and special needs, ensuring their comfort and safety in an ICF-IID setting.
  • Work under the direction of nursing staff to provide basic consumer care, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, and transferring individuals.
  • Ensure the safety and care of individuals with disabilities, adhering to all written rules and regulations as outlined by SC DDSN policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the care team to review consumer plans, monitor vital signs, and document observations and changes in consumer behavior or physical symptoms.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks, restock consumer rooms with personal hygiene items, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant by the State of South Carolina.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, and late/early hours.
  • Valid SC driver's license and reliable transportation.
