Position Overview:

Ace Wellness Center is seeking a licensed clinical psychotherapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy to a select group of young adults in northeast Ohio. Our organization specializes in mental health services for children, adolescents, and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, attention deficits, and learning difficulties that hinder their ability to live independently.

We employ a collaborative treatment approach, offering support in various areas including academics, executive functioning, life skills, wellness, and therapeutic interventions. Our commitment to delivering exceptional therapeutic services is reflected in our clinicians' participation in supervision, case discussions, and ongoing training. Recent training opportunities have included Mentalization Based Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Transference Focused Psychotherapy. This role offers engaging clinical work and opportunities to explore diverse therapeutic techniques, utilizing an experiential therapy model that integrates clinical practice with activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual, group, and family psychotherapy
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments upon admission and prepare discharge summaries upon graduation
  • Document clinical notes and develop treatment plans

Qualifications:

  • Active and valid licensure in Ohio (LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, etc.)
  • Experience working with clients who have experienced trauma, PTSD, and various mental health disorders
  • Proficiency in documenting clinical progress in an electronic health record (EHR) system
  • Willingness to undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinical Director

Work Arrangement: In-person

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $45,000 - $65,000 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Experience: Preferred 3 years in mental health counseling

Licensure/Certification: LSW, LPC, LISW (Required)
