Job Summary

Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our sterile compounding operations. This includes performing product inspections, environmental monitoring, and document review. You will also assist with the media fill process validations and submit samples to the lab for analysis. Additionally, you will maintain quality records and participate in internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

  • Perform product inspections for defects, leaks, and particulates.
  • Conduct environmental monitoring of personnel and complete documentation.
  • Assist with the media fill process validations, including inspection of filled units.
  • Review and verify documentation of compounding activities, including cleaning records, line clearance forms, and inventory sheets.
  • Submit samples to the lab for analysis.
  • Maintain quality records and participate in internal and external audits.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality or manufacturing department of a pharmaceutical, medical device, or allied health science.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ability to perform calculations and troubleshoot issues.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Compensation

The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors, including skill sets, experience, and training. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

Physical Demands

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds. The work environment is indoors, cleanroom, with controlled temperatures and loud noise.
