Job Overview

Air Hydro Power is seeking skilled Traveling Laborers to join our team for our Fall Outage season.

This is a seasonal opportunity that requires the ability to travel to and from job sites while performing a variety of tasks as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

As a Traveling Laborer, you will work at heights from 4' – 100' on scaffolding with a focus on safety, using 100% tied-off safety harnesses.

Our jobs can be physically demanding, but every day is different, with opportunities to work inside and outside, in various weather conditions.

We offer on-the-job training and the ability to build experience in the field, making this a great opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of tasks, including mechanical work, as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work at heights from 4' – 100' on scaffolding, using 100% tied-off safety harnesses.
  • Travel to and from job sites, with opportunities to work in various weather conditions.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and develop skills in the field.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3-5 years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
  • Mandatory drug test upon hire and random drug testing as host employer's request.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
  • Routinely required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance.
