The Opportunity

We're currently seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer II to join our team in Plymouth, MN. This role will drive improvement and corrective action in the quality of components sourced from outside suppliers.

About the Job

  • Assess potential new suppliers for technical, quality, and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Provide technical support for the introduction of components from a new supplier.
  • Develop and maintain incoming inspection procedures.
  • Analyze incoming material defects and communicate issues to suppliers.
  • Investigate field failures related to supplier materials and develop corrective action plans.
  • Lead a project team of moderate scope and provide guidance to less experienced staff.

What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you'll need a bachelor's degree in a related field and 2-5 years of related work experience. You should have a good understanding of specified functional areas, working technical knowledge, and application of concepts, practices, and procedures.
