Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate each emergency situation to determine the most effective response while adhering to established EMT protocols.
Employ your EMT expertise with medical apparatus and techniques, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen delivery systems, and intravenous therapy to deliver advanced medical assistance.
Engage with patients and their families to offer reassurance and updates regarding the care being administered.Serve as the lead EMT on the scene, overseeing unit management and coordination as necessary.
Operate the ambulance during emergency responses.
Collaborate professionally with other healthcare providers and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs, to ensure optimal patient care.
Participate in community outreach initiatives to enhance the organization's image and foster strong community ties.Essential Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
State EMT License
State Driver's License
BLS, ACLS, NREMT-EMT
Driving record compliant with company standards
Successful completion of Physical Agility Test
Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
