Compensation: $76.92 per hour

Work Schedule: 12.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver comprehensive health and wellness services on-site, including promotion, prevention, assessment, intervention, treatment, and follow-up for medical, mental health, substance abuse, and oral health issues.
  2. Administer direct medical care to students, establishing a clinical physician-patient relationship that encompasses examination, diagnosis, and emergency treatment as necessary.
  3. Ensure completion and review of mandatory laboratory tests, with appropriate follow-up care and testing.
  4. Oversee the immunization initiative, ensuring compliance with required immunizations, including boosters for incomplete series and hepatitis B vaccinations for health training students.
  5. Engage in monthly medication management case discussions for students on prescribed medications.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program with a valid, unrestricted California physician extender or nurse practitioner license.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
