Job Overview

The Behavioral Intervention Technician (RBT) is an essential role within our organization, tasked with delivering specialized behavioral support to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental challenges.

Position Details

Classification: Salary Non-Exempt
Status: Part-time
Reports To: BCBA/BCaBA

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct therapeutic services in both individual and group settings.
  • Maintain and update client program documentation on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with BCBA's to implement tailored goals and objectives.
  • Execute individualized treatment plans as directed by the supervising consultant.
  • Record and analyze data as per instructions.
  • Uphold confidentiality and respect for all clients.
  • Enhance professional skills through ongoing training.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and meet the driving requirements set by Fairclough Behavior Services LLC.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Engage with the community to promote Fairclough Behavior Services LLC's initiatives.
  • Adhere to the mission, vision, and values of Fairclough Behavior Services LLC.
Qualifications
  • RBT Certification is mandatory.
  • Proficient understanding of DTT, PECS, PRT, and various ABA methodologies.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
  • Visual acuity for reading and observing.
  • Effective communication skills for clear interaction.
  • Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to manage moderate to high stress levels.
  • Work settings may include both educational and home environments.
  • Regular interaction with parents, community members, and external agency personnel.
  • Potential exposure to challenging behaviors from clients.
  • Willingness to travel between client locations as required.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time role with variable hours from Monday to Friday, including occasional weekend commitments based on client needs.

Travel Requirements

This position necessitates up to 100% travel between client residences in the Metro area.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $32,000 - $37,000 annually
