Key Responsibilities
  • Case Preparation: Assist attorneys in preparing cases for trial, including ordering and reviewing medical records, preparing chronologies and timelines, and analyzing case merit and identifying standard of care, causation, and damage issues.
  • Expert Witness Management: Research, identify, interview, and communicate with expert witnesses to support our clients' cases.
  • Medical and Legal Research: Conduct thorough research to support our clients' cases, including medical and legal research.
  • Document Preparation: Draft and prepare various documents, including pleadings, discovery, discovery responses, subpoenas, deposition notices, orders, exhibit lists, expert and witness lists, and other litigation documents.
  • Client Support: Provide exceptional support to our clients, including answering questions, providing updates, and addressing concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree or higher in Paralegal Studies or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Paralegal, with a focus on personal injury law.
  • Certifications: Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) certification and certification from the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA) or National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA).
  • Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
