About the Role

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) is seeking a highly skilled Scientist to lead our bioinspired catalysis research program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative research strategies to advance the field of bioinspired catalysis.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of a comprehensive research plan for bioinspired catalysis, including the identification of research gaps and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of researchers to design, synthesize, and characterize bioinspired catalysts.
  • Develop and implement novel methods for the synthesis and characterization of bioinspired catalysts.
  • Conduct experiments and analyze data to evaluate the performance of bioinspired catalysts.
  • Communicate research findings through publications, presentations, and reports.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in bioinspired catalysis research.
  • Strong background in catalysis design, synthesis, and characterization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
