We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Essex Meadows, a leading provider of senior living services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Care: Oversee the direct care of residents and nursing personnel on your shift, ensuring that all care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
- Administer Medications and Treatments: Administer prescribed medications and treatments to patients as needed, maintaining accurate documentation of all care rendered.
- Develop and Implement Care Plans: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each resident.
- Communicate Effectively: Keep physicians and families informed of changes in residents' condition, responding promptly to emergency situations and providing emotional support as needed.
- Maintain a Safe and Clean Environment: Ensure that all equipment and supplies are functioning properly, adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Licensure and Certification: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state and current CPR certification.
- Experience and Skills: At least 6 months of nursing experience in a long-term care setting, with a strong ability to build rapport with patients and demonstrate a compassionate and caring demeanor.
- Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Competitive Compensation: Up to $50.75 per hour.
