Job Title: Wagon Driver

The Wagon Driver is a key member of our team at Temple Hall Farm, responsible for ensuring the safe and enjoyable experience of our visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor with a wagon attached for hay rides, ensuring the safety of visitors and the farm's facilities.
  • Greet visitors, provide information, and assist with implementing special events.
  • Coordinate tour activities, including hay rides, and collect fees from tour visitors.
  • Enforce rules and regulations of the farm, supervise safety, and perform emergency procedures as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Minimum age 18 years old to drive a tractor.
  • Ability to operate a tractor with a wagon attached in a safe manner.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with the public, staff members, and volunteers.
  • Ability to interpret and explain park policies, rules, and procedures.
  • Assist with routine maintenance and repair of equipment, including changing oil and oil filters.
  • Interest in farm operations and availability to work additional hours during peak operating times.

Please note that strength and dexterity are necessary to perform all required tasks, including lifting, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions.

A valid driver's license is required for this position.
