As a Patient Care Technician at US Renal Care, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and treatment to patients with renal failure. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during dialysis treatments.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for dialysis treatments, including gathering vital signs and initiating treatment
- Monitor patients during treatment, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Collect patient blood samples as required by physician orders
- Conduct machine safety checks and log results for quality control
- Ensure all protocols and regulations are followed
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a current certification as a Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) or equivalent, depending on the state in which you will be working. You will also need to participate in all required staff meetings and continuing education offerings.
