Job Overview

The Excellent Wingman is seeking an experienced Ground Support Equipment (GSE) specialist to join our team. As a GSE Technician IV, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our ground support equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and provide safe and efficient operations for GSE Repairs
  • Coordinates Tech 1,2 and 3 maintenance activities during their respective shifts
  • Proficient at Operating ground service equipment (GSE)
  • Trouble-shoot mechanical problems on GSE and coordinates repairs
  • Operate aircraft de-icing equipment and participate in deicing events
  • Repair electric/hydraulic systems and be able to read electrical/hydraulic schematics
  • Coordinates and assists with Emergency repair calls while on duty
  • Duties include, but not limited to, troubleshooting, tune-up, repair and overhaul of power-plant, drive-train, electric and hydraulic systems
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in GSE maintenance. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in the Vehicle / Heavy Equipment / GSE / AGE maintenance field.

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or show proof of right to work in the U.S.
  • High School graduate or GED
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds comfortably
  • Able to fluently read, write, speak and understand English
  • Ability to work under stressful situations and tight time constraints
Estimated Salary

$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
