Senior Content Strategist

ROGERCO, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Writer/Editor to join our team in Dahlgren, VA. As a critical member of our creative team, you will play a key role in conceptualizing and developing compelling content to help our clients tell impactful stories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create original content that resonates with internal and external audiences
• Write clear, concise, and engaging copy that adheres to approved brand guidelines
• Provide editorial expertise in producing high-quality content, including articles, press releases, and fact sheets
• Manage administrative tasks and requests for information
• Develop action plans to target specific audiences and identify communication gaps
• Perform final quality assurance reviews on content products prior to distribution
• Consult relevant sources to obtain and verify background information
• Develop outlines and drafts that meet client requirements and regulations
• Edit copy to comply with in-house and AP style guides

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent experience
• US Citizen
• Active Secret Clearance
• Proven ability to support communication programs and products
• Experience in research, writing, editing, and obtaining release/approval for content
• Proficient in writing, formatting, and editing a range of content
• Knowledge of Section 508 compliance standards
• Thorough knowledge of AP Style
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
