Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Physical Therapist at Jefferson Health, you will be responsible for evaluating, treating, and discharging patients referred for physical therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine their physical therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients, including exercises, modalities, and education
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid state license in Physical Therapy
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred
Working Conditions

This position requires regular contact with children, and as such, the selected candidate will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including a Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, a Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI fingerprint-based federal criminal records check.
