Job Title: Fabrication Superintendent B Shift

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor production efficiency and implement strategies to improve productivity
  • Collaborate with supervisors to discuss daily goals and objectives
  • Report to the Fabrication Office for order sheets and attend supervisor meetings
  • Direct supervisors to ensure production volume, quality, and cost targets are met
  • Handle employee grievances and disputes in a fair and efficient manner
  • Participate in group meetings, line meetings, and supervisory meetings to drive team performance
  • Work with the Quality Control department to ensure product quality and food safety
  • Train and develop supervisors to provide management depth and develop teamwork
  • Monitor and maintain machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure proper operation and sanitation
  • Maintain good employee relations and adherence to labor contract provisions
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of packinghouse experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Bilingual skills a plus
  • Knowledge of beef cuts and production process
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
Working Conditions:
  • Working in cold temperatures
  • Frequent exposure to knives, hot water, and production machinery
  • Physical demands include walking and stair climbing
  • Environment consists of slick floors and loud noise
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Base salary range of $85,000 - $100,000
  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage after 60 days of employment
  • Paid Time off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays
  • 401(k) eligibility after the 1st day of employment with company match after the first year of service
  • Eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan
