Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at Fairview Health Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to various units within our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centered care to individuals with diverse medical needs
  • Collaborate with physicians, care coordinators, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Delegate responsibilities to other team members as needed
  • Participate in cross-training to post-op surgical, oncology, and complex medical patients
  • Utilize Epic computerized medical records charting system
  • Float to various units to fill vacancies and support regular staff
Requirements
  • MN RN licensure by start date
  • BLS for healthcare providers
  • Training in arrhythmia monitoring and basic EKG interpretation
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and delegate tasks
  • Comfortable using computers and adapting to changing environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a team and delegating tasks
  • 1 year of med-surg experience
  • Work experience in a float pool or floating
  • Familiarity with Epic
  • BSN or willingness to obtain in the near future
