This is an exciting opportunity to join Lockheed Martin as a Network Engineer, where you will play a critical role in the successful implementation, integration, and support of a multi-site classified network.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, test, and troubleshoot computer systems to ensure seamless network operations.
- Collaborate with the system administration team to deploy new sites and configure Cisco switches and routers, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Work with the SysAdmin and DevSecOps software team to maintain and update database systems.
- Conduct trade studies and install/build rack-mounted systems to meet the needs of the organization.
- Develop and implement network architectures using Visio and other tools.
- Final Secret clearance prior to start and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing LAN and WAN networks.
- Experience with Linux/RHEL.
- Sound knowledge of network architecture, topologies, engineering, design, implementation, and testing.
- Familiarity with communication products, including router, switches, firewalls, Domain Name Servers (DNS), and data encryption products.
- Certifications in industry vendors, such as Cisco (CCNA).
- Understanding of standard DoD security practices, such as STIG/RMF compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts.
- Experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytic tools.
- Network and Linux/RHEL automation using Ansible.
- Virtualization using VMWare.
