About the Role:

This involves direct clinical supervision, planning, directing, controlling, and evaluating the delivery of consumer care across multiple areas. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe therapeutic environment, identifying training needs, and providing ongoing education to nursing staff.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes and quality of care
• Foster strong relationships with colleagues, consumers, and families to ensure comprehensive support
• Identify and address any issues or concerns affecting patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to resolve problems
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and conduct employee evaluations and competency assessments
• Uphold professional standards, adhering to hospital policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• A current license to practice as a registered nurse issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing or a non-renewable temporary practice permit
• At least 3 years of experience as a registered nurse or 4 years of professional nursing experience in a related field
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply written materials, including policies, procedures, and regulations
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and basic computer software applications
