We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Automation Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our distribution centers by designing and implementing automated systems that drive efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement automated systems for warehouse operations, ensuring seamless integration with existing warehouse management software and IT systems.
- Create detailed engineering plans, process flow diagrams, and system layouts to optimize warehouse processes.
- Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements, conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Manage the installation, commissioning, and testing of automated systems, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automated systems, monitoring and analyzing system performance to optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation needs and solutions, working with suppliers and vendors to source the best automation equipment and solutions.
- Train warehouse staff on the operation and maintenance of automated equipment, documenting all automation processes, procedures, and changes for future reference and compliance purposes.

Requirements- 5+ years of experience in warehouse automation or a related field.
- Strong technical skills, including programming languages, robotics, and PLC programming.
