Patient Admissions Specialist

Job Summary:
As a Patient Admissions Specialist with the Milford Fire Department - Massachusetts, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth admission process for patients. Under the general supervision of the Manager of the Admitting and Registration Departments, you will be responsible for admitting patients to their assigned beds according to established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate the appropriate forms and obtain patient signatures
- Perform miscellaneous office duties related to patient admissions
- Work under general supervision, referring to supervisor and department manuals as needed
Requirements:
- High School Graduate
- One to two years related office experience preferred
- Data entry experience
- Customer service background helpful
- Medical Terminology helpful
