Job Summary:

RTG Medical-Allied is seeking a highly skilled Special Procedures Technologist for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Special Procedures Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using specialized equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using specialized equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and administering contrast media.
  • Operate and maintain specialized equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Special Procedures Technologist in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Special Procedures Technologist.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay and Benefits:

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
