We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef & Director of Culinary Operations to join our team at Tarrytown House Estate in New York.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and growth of our hotel's food and beverage program. This includes overseeing all food and beverage operations, managing day-to-day staffing requirements, and educating and training team members in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and safety regulations.
About You
- You have a minimum of two years' experience in food and beverage, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
- You possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong organizational and time management skills.
- You are knowledgeable about MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- You have a valid Serve Safe Food Handlers Certificate and TIPS Training.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and improve guest satisfaction.
- Lead a team of culinary professionals to create innovative menu designs and provide exceptional dining experiences for guests.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting for food and beverages.
- Collaborate with the chef and culinary team to plan and execute special events and banquets.
- Maintain high standards of quality, service, and sanitation throughout the kitchen and food preparation areas.
What We Offer
Tarrytown House Estate offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
