Nutrition Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at RD Nutrition Consultants LLC, a leading consulting firm providing expert services to healthcare facilities nationwide.

This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, combining remote and onsite work to meet your needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients and residents.
• Administer medical nutrition therapy, including for wound healing and weight management.
• Offer nutritional counseling and education to both residents and their families.
• Ensure adherence to DOH/state/federal regulations and company standards.

Requirements:

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred).
• Proficiency in providing general nutrition interventions.
• Experience with tube feedings.
• Familiarity with electronic charting systems.
• Knowledgeable about state survey process and compliance to nutrition care regulations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
