Job Title: MLS Training and Support Specialist

Are you a customer service expert looking to make a difference in the real estate industry? We are seeking a highly skilled MLS Training and Support Specialist to join our team at the Birmingham Association of Realtors.

Job Summary:

The MLS Training and Support Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our members, ensuring they have a positive experience with our Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and SUPRA programs. This role will also involve developing and delivering training schedules for all MLS services, as well as ensuring compliance with MLS rules and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level support to members on MLS and SUPRA programs, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training schedules for all MLS services, including video and written help files.
  • Ensure all MLS rules and regulations are upheld, and members are in compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Commercial and Residential Services to ensure member needs are met.
  • Track and analyze technical calls and issues to identify areas for training and improvement.
  • Assist with classroom and board room setup as needed.
  • Develop and maintain an online training library in multiple formats.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Commercial and Residential Services.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in the use of MLS, SUPRA, Microsoft Office software, and other real estate technology services.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant MLS experience.

Working Conditions:

This role requires frequent interaction with members, management, co-workers, clients, and outside vendors. You will work primarily in a well-lighted, well-ventilated building with moderate levels of noise. You may be required to work beyond normal working hours, on weekends, and in other positions. A valid driver's license is required, and some travel may be expected to stay abreast of industry updates.
