Job Overview

We are seeking an Electromechanical Technician to join our team in Athens, TN. As an Electromechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery in our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and repair machinery based on operating parameters, adhering to engineering principles and strict safety regulations.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and operational problems, take corrective action, and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Test newly installed equipment, notify supervisors about recurring issues, and support production by working closely with operators.
  • Work overtime as necessary to support a six-day work week.
Requirements
  • Robotics troubleshooting and maintenance experience.
  • PLC troubleshooting skills.
  • 480v Electrical Maintenance experience, including reading schematics, using electrical meters, variable frequency drives, electrical cabinets, relays, switches, and 3-phase motors.
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components knowledge.
  • Mechanical Maintenance experience, including part repair and replacement, reading blueprints, fixing breakdowns, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to read and comprehend work instructions.
  • Effective communication with other departments and shifts.
  • Strong adherence to safety protocols.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
Work Environment

This position is based in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment, which can get hot with high humidity. The majority of your time will be spent on your feet working on the floor. The dress code includes jeans, steel-toed shoes, and a work shirt. You will be part of a team of 8 total maintenance technicians.

Pay: $25.20-$28.35/hr, depending on experience

Shifts: 2nd and 3rd

Schedule: Monday-Friday with OT on weekends as needed, which will be pretty often

Weekly Hours: Probably about 60-68
