Lee Spring is seeking an experienced Coiler to join our team. As a Coiler, you will be responsible for setting up, starting up, and running primary and secondary machines, as well as selecting and preparing machine tooling. You will also be responsible for preparing acceptable first-piece samples, determining blank dimensions and centering processes, and recording in-process measurements and counting parts. Additionally, you will be responsible for tearing down machines, including routine cleanup and maintenance, and providing general factory assistance, including operation of other machines, inspection, maintenance, sampling, and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up, and run primary machines
• Set up, start up, and run secondary machines
• Selection and/or preparation of machine tooling
• Preparation of acceptable first-piece samples
• Determine blank dimensions and centering process
• Recording in-process measurements and count parts
• Teardown machines including routine cleanup and maintenance
• General Factory assistance including but not limited to operation of other machines, inspection, maintenance, sampling and tooling

Requirements

• Bennett Mechanical Aptitude Test with a score of 50+ or relevant work experience
• Standard Measuring Instruments Test
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Physical Examination by an appointed Lee Spring Doctor
• Ability to lift or carry minimum 40 lbs.
