Job Summary

As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely operating a propane delivery truck along designated routes, filling residential and commercial bulk tanks with propane, and delivering propane cylinders to customers.

Responsibilities
  • Safety First: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all federal and state codes, regulations, and AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
  • Propane Delivery: Safely operate a propane delivery truck along designated routes, filling residential and commercial bulk tanks with propane.
  • Customer Service: Deliver propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers while providing excellent customer service.
  • Logistics: Manage daily delivery routes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of propane to customers.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on delivery equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • CDL Requirements: Possess a valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
  • Driving Record: Maintain an acceptable driving record.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Background Check: Pass a satisfactory background check.
