Physical Therapy Assistant Opportunity

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality care to patients in the acute care setting. As a member of our rehabilitation team, you will work closely with our experienced physical therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy treatments and tests to patients in the acute care setting
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
  • Supervise supportive personnel and participate in education services
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, visitors, co-workers, physicians, and other employees
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited college leading to a degree in physical therapy assistant
  • Licensure in the State of Massachusetts
  • BLS certification
  • One year of acute care experience preferred
