The Behavioral Health Outpatient team is dedicated to providing exceptional care to children, adolescents, and young adults. Our therapists and Certified Nurse Practitioner work closely with each client and their family to develop skills to manage mood, thinking, and behaviors, promoting resiliency and healing.
About the PositionThe Behavioral Health Therapist provides evidence-based treatment to children and their families within a school setting, aligning with the agency's vision and mission. This role involves participation in supervision, case consultation conferences, and agency meetings, as well as serving as an ambassador for the promotion of the Children's Institute.
Qualifications- Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or a related field is required.
- Master's prepared clinician practicum is required.
- Three years' experience working as a behavioral health clinician with children/families from diverse cultures and children with disabilities is preferred.
- Credentialing with managed care organizations is preferred.
