Job Summary

V2X is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Integrator/CADD Operator to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management and operations team, you will be responsible for managing the operation and production of our computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) and computer-aided facility management (CAFM) systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Management: Provide technical support to maintain systems, order supplies, and upgrade system capabilities as necessary.
  • CADD Drawings and Concepts: Assist in the preparation of CADD drawings and concepts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • File Management: Maintain hardcopy and softcopy CADD files for all facilities, ensuring up-to-date and accurate records.
  • Training and Development: Train personnel in the operation of the CADD system, ensuring seamless integration and adoption.
  • Facilities Management: Manage the space inventory management system database, producing, reviewing, and analyzing facility data to inform business decisions.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop reports for senior managers integrating space occupancy with finance and real estate data, providing actionable insights to inform business strategy.
  • Project Oversight: Provide technical oversight of facility projects, ensuring compliance with contract drawings and specifications.
  • Quality Control: Inspect contractor work for compliance with contract drawings, maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Documentation: Maintain project technical files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of project progress and outcomes.
  • Research and Development: Research drawing archives in support of new projects, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Support project managers in discussions with A&E and construction contractors, providing technical expertise and guidance as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in system integration/CADD operations, with a strong background in AutoCAD and Archibus.
  • Certifications: Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to obtain an international driver's license, as well as a valid U.S. passport.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, including experience with MS Project and other PM software, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
