We are currently seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to join our team for travel assignments.

Position Details

Weekly Compensation: $2,496

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks | 40 Hours | Nights 9:30 PM - 8 AM

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments.
  • Gather current symptoms and detailed patient histories, collaborating with healthcare team members to formulate, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Perform triage while considering both physical and psychosocial factors.
  • Manage basic life support needs and stabilize patients until the attending physician is available, adhering to nursing standards and protocols.
  • Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring equipment readings indicating adverse symptoms.
  • Record patients' vital signs accurately.
  • Assist physicians during examinations, diagnostic tests, and treatments.
  • Prepare and administer prescribed medications via various routes, documenting all actions accordingly.
  • Report any adverse reactions to medications or treatments in line with established policies.
  • Provide IV therapy and basic bedside care.
  • Maintain adequate supplies and medical equipment for patient care.
  • Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Implement patient education plans as directed by physicians.
  • Educate patients on managing their conditions, including post-treatment care, nutrition, exercise, medication self-administration, and rehabilitation, while providing referrals for follow-up care.
  • Exhibit professionalism while managing multiple urgent tasks efficiently.
  • Document all care information accurately and promptly in the appropriate formats.
Submission Requirements
  • Minimum 2 Years of Experience - Required
  • X-ray Experience - Required
  • Travel Experience - Required
  • BLS Certification (AHA) - Required
  • Health system-wide profile standards must be met.
  • References are not required.
  • A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is preferred.
  • Michigan license verification is necessary for nurses.
  • Physical copies of certifications are required only if specified above.
  • Current full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
