- Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients and families on disease processes, medication management, and self-care techniques.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
Responsibilities:
- Nursing assessment and care planning for pediatric patients.
- Administration of medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Documentation of patient care and outcomes in electronic medical records.
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient-centered care goals.
- Education and support of patients and families on disease management and self-care techniques.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
- 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
