Medical Director Opportunity in Gastroenterology

We are seeking a skilled Medical Director to lead our Gastroenterology team in Tennessee. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician with expertise in gastroenterology to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth and development of our healthcare services.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Gastroenterology department, including patient care, staff management, and quality improvement initiatives. They will also play a key role in developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Gastroenterology team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to improve patient flow and reduce wait times
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track departmental performance
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board certification in Gastroenterology
- At least 3 years of experience in gastroenterology, preferably in a leadership role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
