Job Summary

  • Dust furniture, ensuring a clean and safe environment for students and staff.
  • Wash windows, walls, woodwork, and lavatories to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Sweep, wash, mop, and scrub floors using cleaning equipment to keep the facility spotless.
  • Gather and dispose of refuse in an environmentally responsible manner.
  • Clean and polish furniture and brass fixtures to uphold the district's standards.

Required Knowledge & Abilities

  • Possess some knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment to effectively perform duties.
  • Able to follow oral and written instructions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to read and write to communicate with colleagues and management.
  • Thoroughness and a strong commitment to cleanliness are essential qualities for this role.
  • Good physical condition is necessary to perform tasks that require manual labor.
  • Ability to get along well with others, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Benefits and Salary

The salary for this position is approximately $45,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Benefits include those pursuant to the CSEA contract, providing comprehensive coverage and support for employees.
