Senior Financial Analyst

Position Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst - Project Cost Management plays a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing financial analysis applications that are essential for tracking established goals. This position is responsible for preparing comprehensive status and management reports that highlight discrepancies in project execution strategies and propose effective solutions. The analyst will support management in maintaining financial and scheduling oversight throughout the lifecycle of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts detailed financial analysis and reporting, including the preparation of periodic and ad hoc financial plans.
• Gains a thorough understanding of the operational environment and business functions being supported.
• Acts as a financial liaison, ensuring effective communication with operational programs.
• Utilizes advanced financial planning and analysis techniques, such as variance analysis, scenario modeling, and cash flow forecasting, as required.

Security Clearance Requirements

All candidates must undergo a pre-employment drug screening and a comprehensive background check, which includes verification of personal references, credit history, criminal records, and educational credentials. Positions may necessitate obtaining and maintaining a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which is limited to U.S. citizens. Various factors may influence the ability to secure a clearance, and each case will be evaluated individually.

Qualifications

Essential: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent state credential.

Preferred: Proficiency in automated accounting and planning systems, along with practical experience using Site Business systems.
