Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' goals and needs
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patients' strengths and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide cost-effective treatments that promote patients' independence and overall well-being
  • Design and implement fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs
  • Provide personalized and evidence-based care, including interventions and strategies to promote patients' healthy lifestyle
  • Monitor and communicate patients' progress to healthcare professionals and family members
  • Document patient care services and maintain accurate records

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a COTA
  • Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies or related field
  • Proven work experience as a COTA, preferably in a rehabilitation setting
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to manage patients with diverse personalities and needs
