Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Driver to join our team at DSV Air & Sea in Hillsboro, Oregon. As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for operating a forklift and other material handling equipment to ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment to move goods within the warehouse
  • Load and unload shipments, including pallets and containers
  • Stack and store products in a safe and organized manner
  • Count and inspect products for damage or discrepancies
  • Notify leadership of any issues or concerns
  • Perform daily inspections and maintenance on equipment
  • Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following prescribed work methods
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months experience working in a logistics or distribution environment
  • Able to operate MHE (material handling equipment)
  • Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-3 years experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • 1-3 years forklift experience
  • Current or prior MHE certification
Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
