Job Title: Chalkboard Server

Join our team of dedicated professionals at the Ambassador Hotel Oklahoma City as a Chalkboard Server. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and maintain communication between the service team and guests.
  • Provide thoughtful and empathetic service, ensuring a positive experience for every guest.
  • Delegate and prioritize tasks efficiently, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Take ownership of every guest's experience, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Stay knowledgeable about our menu, ingredients, cooking techniques, and drink recipes to provide expert recommendations.
  • Execute professional wine service and maintain a strong, confident presence at the table.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Previous bartending, serving, and/or customer service experience.
  • Ability to think and communicate clearly in high-pressure situations.
  • Basic math skills and excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of basic sanitation and computer operations.
  • Ability to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of 4 hours or more with a high energy level.
  • Ability to lift 15-30 pounds and exert fast-paced mobility between the dining room and kitchen for periods of up to 4 hours in length.
