Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time, well-rounded Associate Veterinarian to join our busy and growing hospital. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality Fear Free veterinary medicine and contribute to the development of our practice.

Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate and quality care for small animals
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and patients
  • Participate in Fear Free certification and continuing education
  • Collaborate with our team to achieve practice goals and objectives
  • Contribute to the development of our practice through policy development and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent degree required
  • State Veterinary Board License
  • DEA License current or may obtain after hire
  • USDA accreditation a plus
  • Previous full-time work experience in small-animal general practice
  • Dedication to ensuring each patient and client is treated with the highest level of compassion and care
  • Knowledge of and passion for providing Fear Free care and an interest in companion-animal behavior
  • Basic skills and comfort using phones, computers, emailing, texting, and veterinary practice-management software
  • Emotional intelligence and a willingness to continually develop communication skills
  • A positive and flexible attitude
