Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of customer service or healthcare-related experience
  • Intermediate level of computer proficiency (multi-tasking through multiple applications including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with an electronic health record (EPIC)
  • Knowledge of medical terms
  • Knowledge of insurance carriers and managed care plans
  • 1+ years of experience working in a medical front office / Urgent Care position performing duties such as scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, insurance verification, collecting co-pays, and maintaining medical records

  • Ability to work independently and maintain good judgment and accountability
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with healthcare providers
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet all deadlines
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:

This is a 37.5-hour work week to be determined by the supervisor. The hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 to 5:00 pm
