Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to join our team at GDKN Corporation. This role involves specialized clinical medical practice focusing on critical areas such as Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), Refugee Health, Family Planning, and Women's Health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced clinical assessments and provide care in designated specialty areas.
- Execute medical procedures and protocols established in collaboration with the Medical Director.
- Gather, analyze, and document health information from patients in various clinics, including performing breast and pelvic examinations, and managing intrauterine device (IUD) procedures.
- Deliver comprehensive physical examinations for uninsured individuals and refugees.
- Identify and assess medical conditions, initiate diagnostic tests, and interpret results promptly.
- Maintain an advanced understanding of nursing practices and adhere to Title X guidelines.
- Engage in immunization campaigns and provide necessary vaccinations as directed by nursing leadership.
- Initiate appropriate treatment plans based on patient diagnoses, following established protocols.
- Supervise support staff and leverage expertise to educate patients, families, and the community.
- Participate in staff training and development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with the State of Florida Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensing requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Medical Director or Nursing Director based on operational needs.
- Safeguard patient information in accordance with state and federal regulations and organizational policies.
Licensure Requirements:
Valid APRN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are mandatory.
