About the Role

As a Gastroenterology Physician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of digestive system disorders in adults and potentially children. Your duties will include conducting comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing and implementing treatment plans. You will also have the opportunity to work with surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists to ensure coordinated care.

Requirements
  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Residency: Residency training program in internal medicine accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
  • Certifications: Board certification in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the AOA
