MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is currently seeking a traveling CT Technologist for an exciting opportunity.

Position Overview

The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating CT imaging equipment to create detailed cross-sectional images of patients' internal structures, which are essential for diagnosing various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans, utilizing necessary immobilization and protective measures.
  • Adjust equipment settings and monitor both the equipment and patient during procedures, making necessary modifications.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging processes, including starting IVs and administering contrast materials when required.
  • Evaluate the quality of CT images, ensuring they are properly processed and labeled.
  • Schedule patient appointments and perform some administrative tasks related to the imaging process.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to national patient safety standards.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of eighteen months of experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist.
  • Current ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification is required.
  • Licensure may be necessary in various states.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
