Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer to join our team at Giant Finishing Inc, the leader in deburring and finishing equipment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for updating our 2D parts library into 3D Solidworks models and creating production drawings.

Your primary duties will include designing and developing new products, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with other teams to ensure successful project implementation. A strong background in mechanical design and manufacturing is crucial for this role, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new products using Solidworks
  • Convert 2D designs into 3D models
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement projects
  • Identify and address machine deficiencies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in CAD engineering or related field
  • Proficiency in Solidworks and AutoCAD software
