We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Methodist University Hospital. As a Traveling Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Tennessee or compact state.
- At least 2 years of experience in the Emergency Room or Intensive Care Unit.
- Ability to work 48 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
